A 2-day workshop, inspired two birds of opposite natures, the Raven well known as trickster and the Great Blue Heron with his quiet, steadfast presence.

Students will choose one of these two birds and will then have the option to include text in your work-print, stencil and stitch. Or your bird might be best suited to a pieced background. After creating your own background, your chosen bird will be appliquéd and free machine stitched into the environment you have created for them.
